The dissonant bleakness of the first track is less weird and more hypnotic than on the second track. That's why I like it a little more. But both songs together make for an extraordinary experience and a journey to the arhythmically beating heart of darkness.

The atmosphere on this record is amazing dark and beautiful almost spiritual at some points and crushing at others every song gave me goosebumps at some point

I came here for TROB. Meilenwald is flawless here. However Almyrkvi are a fantasric band as well. Both projects do such a fantastic job creating atmosphere, as well as writing strong songs that get stuck in your head. Fantastic split from 2 awesome projects. 4/5
